Underwhelming half! No shots on goal against last place Wolves! Really?!? No sense of urgency! I'm ready for Jesus! At a minimum he can be a chaos creator!
Well that was an uninspiring first half from the Arsenal attack.
I don't really know what to do about it, but Rice and Zubimendi being 2/3 of our midfield really puts a huge amount of pressure on the 3rd midfielder to break down these tight defensive block.
Make some subs, Arteta. This isn't working

Really not sure what to think of VG. I had such high hopes but it isn't working so far. Not sure what the issue is..... bad fit for EPL, doesn't fit system, not utilizing him properly, etc....?

Offense is still an issue. Playing like this against the worst team the top flight may have ever seen does not instill confidence. Arsenal should be clicking with the ball, but somehow finds a way to putter around in neutral gear.

Underlying issue is that we haven't figured out how to beat a team that parks the bus except with set pieces. We've been trying to commit more players forward to beat the block but our build up is too slow allowing the opposition to setup. We need to be attacking quicker to throw the defense off and wear them out.

Slow build up, over emphasis on playing it backwards rather than pushing forward, the striker either stays up top and is disconnected from the team or drops deep and isn't in the box when he needs to be, the attack is often overly skewed to one side, etc.
