Amazing a club that breaks the financial rules can win so many championships!

Its not really a coachable trait though. You either have that dog in you, or you don't. Same thing with being clutch.

That said, I'd love to know the magical voodoo that City have where we almost always play at the Etihad with a half fit squad.

I still think City may drop points with the harder run in, but I have zero confidence in us winning all the matches left

I'd definitely take our run-in versus theirs.

This isn't over yet, but we absolutely cannot be passive. We have to get after it, be aggressive, and keep them on the ropes.

Two "positive" thoughts about this game:

1. The performance was better. Chances were created. They could have been created earlier and more often, but they were created.
2. If come the end of the season, we do in fact lose, this game will not be one of the ones we point to in an honest conversation about what went wrong.

Its down to a 5 game season to see who can score the most goals. Should be interesting

So where do you think our best chance is at the moment: the Prem or the CL?

May sound strange, but I think PL at the moment.

If we can't find the edge we need offensively in the PL to win out, I don't think we could beat either PSG or Bayern should we advance.

In my opinion, I think it should be, as there was everything to play for and the stakes were at their absolute highest.

The squad and the coaches knew what was on the line, and yet again, were left wanting. Though Arsenal were fortunate to not be down 0-1 earlier in the match when the ball deflected off the inside of the post, the defense was not bad, considering it was city at the Etihad. The Arsenal offense could only muster three shots on goal for the contest, and that is why Arsenal lost - quite Impotent on offense, and a few good chances unconverted.

This recent run of form from the offense is looking to reward Arsenal with no silverware this season. Quite a shift from less than 4 weeks ago, and will be the reason if Arsenal go trophy-less.

I just mean we are going to be talking about Wolves, Forest, Bournemouth, etc. far more than this.

Random thoughts on go forward.....

- Should we ditch the 4-3-3 and go back to 4-2-3-1? Allows MO/Exe to play central. Easier to find players that fit a double vs single pivot (including MLS back to MF). Can play with traditional FBs. Allows Ws to play in the half spaces more than out wide.

- Should we move Big Gabi? While he is quite good, he is 28, showing some signs of drop off and occasional poor decision making. Ive seen argument that Cala should move inside to cut down on injuries. Also, could you imagine a left sided double pivot (Cala , Hincapie) at CB/FB? How much chaos would that cause?

- WTF are we gonna do at ST?

Accidentally clicked on the Man United thread but didn't realize it for awhile given all they seem to talk about is Arsenal
