Merino scored 2 goals last night. Has 6 goals in the last 4 games for Spain. He also won a penalty in the 90th minute and they didn't let him take it to get a 2nd hat trick in as many international breaks.

Martinelli scored for Brazil

Eze scored for England and Dowman scored for England U19s

Trossard also scored for Belgium.

Another solid international break for our guys and it looks like no injuries. Get them back and get them rocking for Fulham. Need to dominate the next run of matches

I get it. He touched the ball. But I still just have to wonder if the point of VAR and the foul rules are that we're supposed to spend 5 dissecting whether the ball was contacted at all?

Saka had him beat and even with the touch, continues on except for the foul

Agreed..... So what if he touches the ball. His touch wasn't enough to prevent Saka from continuing on to goal. Hell you had to go in slow mo just to have any clue the ball was touched because it didn't change direction.

Arsenal have been pretty sloppy today. Defense has been good but turnover prone when pushing the ball forward, offense has been a stick in the mud.

This offense has to get things figured out. I am troubled with the lack of overall scoring during the run of play through this point of the season. Arteta and staff must help the team improve on offense.

Feels to me like VG and the rest of the attack aren't fully clicking yet. Most crosses to him seem to be over his head or behind and we miss a bunch of opportunities to get the ball to his feet in the box.

As soon as VG starts getting a little better shots off and buries a couple, you will start seeing the Ws & MF pay more attention to his runs. He's doing the little things right. Just needs everything to fall in place.
