How long do you want to ignore this user?
Lebron just wants to go home so he can dual-sport and star as Johnny's favorite WR.

No he didn't. He said LeBron's agent is pushing for Cleveland.

Lebron is remaining silent, which is causing a whole lot of forced speculation. Not saying he doesn't want to go back to Cleveland, but some of the stuff you read about him so far this free agency is hilarious

Paul Pierce wants two-year, $18 million or more contract. Nets still frontrunners.

lmao this is just an insane offer. He would be an idiot to turn that down. Would be so overpaid.

I agree. Bosh is definitely a 15 million type of player now. But Morey is scrambling
Ryan34
How long do you want to ignore this user?

Definitely overpaying. $70-75mil would be as well but much more palatable.

So Bosh to Houston and Melo to Miami?

Unless Morey has good data to predict the salary cap and luxury line going up dramatically, that seems like a terrible idea

Like Bosh on this team, but not at that price tag...but yeah, he'd be a fool to not consider that kind of scratch.
Sher Thing

Not to mention he'd be able to play with a legit Center for the first time in his career. If I am Bosh, I take that deal immediately. He isn't worth anything close to that type of money. He's a 14 and 5 guy for Houston.

He'd be a perfect fit though. If Houston is willing to pay it then whatevs.
Ryan34
How long do you want to ignore this user?

Yes Bosh would be a fantastic fit, and it's not his fault Houston is willing to pay him that much.
Ulrich

24 million a year for Bosh? 15 would be a nice deal, but I'm not sure I would go higher than 18. 24 would make him the highest paid player in the league.

24 + 22 + 15 = 61 million. That's right at the cap with three players. They will end up paying quite a bit of luxury tax even after the various exceptions if they plan to field a full team. They will also be in the awkward position of paying their third best player the most on the team.

Is a S&T in the cards? Of course, if they get rid of Harden they don't have much perimeter scoring, and if they get rid of Howard then Bosh doesn't make nearly as much sense because they won't have a center on the roster anymore. Asik would have worked fairly well with Bosh, but they already traded him.

This all assumes that they have a way to get rid of Lin. Will they try to S&T Parsons with Lin and maybe the draft pick they got for Asik in a three way deal with Miami and someone? Miami gets Parsons and a role player from Philly, Philly gets Lin and another draft pick, Houston gets Bosh? Someone fire up the trade machine.

I guaranteed you bosh will average more than 14 points and 5 rebounds
Sher Thing
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
Well he averaged 6.5 RPG last year starting at Center for the Heat. It also dipped to 5.6 RPG in the playoffs. He also has said numerous times that he does not want to play inside anymore and prefers to play on the perimeter. So I don't see his rebounding numbers doing anything but diminishing some by playing with Howard. He averaged 16.2 PPG last year in the regular season and 14.9 PPG in the playoffs.

I keep seeing conflicting numbers for what Bosh' s 4 year max contract would be worth...I've seen 4/96 and 4/~85.5.
Ulrich

That's still 21 million, which is still too much.

McRoberts to Miami. I'm sure that's exactly who LeBron was looking for
Sher Thing
How long do you want to ignore this user?

McRoberts is a solid player. It's a good get for the MLE for Miami.
Ulrich
How long do you want to ignore this user?
That's a nice pickup for Miami. He was on my wish list for San Antonio.

McRoberts could have made more elsewhere. Also could have gone to other contenders for the same money. May signal the Heat big 3 coming back.

In year 1, Napier won't give them more than Chalmers did the last few years, but he may end up a pretty good player down the road. McRoberts should give them more than Haslem or Birdman though, so it's definitely an upgrade.

To me, Granger is even more smoke to the big 3 coming back fire. Next we will hear that Gasol is headed that way for 10 million per.

So McRoberts for the MLE and Granger for the Bi-Annual Exception. Decent moves I suppose.

They could still have a decent amount of $ left after the big 3 sign back on depending on what they take. If Bosh stays around 15 and Wade stays around 10 than they could possibly have around 8M/yr contract to hand out if they structure everything correctly.
