I do not think there is any package that Dallas could put together that LA would agree to.Seven Costanza said:
Imagine what Dallas would have to give to trade for Doncic at this point (ignoring salary cap rules and whatnot). AD + Max + 1st Round + ...? Would two additional firsts on top of that and Lively do it? Probably not, but whatever it is, that should tell you how dumb this deal was.
Because we are dumbfounded. It's hard to think about the team in any capacity without thinking about how stupid the trade was. We are headed for a decade of irrelevance at least when we should've been contenders for a decade solely because of the guy they scrapped for no reason at all.shack009 said:
Yall just come up with new weird ways to say it's a bad idea to trade an untradeable player. And always presented as if it's some brilliant insight.
To be fair, watching this zombie roster with a total of 8 "healthy" bodies go to San Antonio and win was oddly satisfying. Spurs should be ashamed lolZachary Klement said:It's hard to think about the team in any capacityshack009 said:

Should be fun tonight, Spurs are favored by 6. Take the Mavs ML.M.C. I do not get why he and Nico keep pitching this as a long term move. AD is 32. Luka is 26. The long term thing simply does not make any sense.shack009 said:
Dude should fire Nico just for putting him in a position to have to talk about the trade and make him sound ******ed. Have some pride, bro.
But everything Nico touched had turned to gold prior to that. Nico had easily established himself as one of the best GMs in the league in just a few years. In the short time Dumont owned the team, Nico acquired PJ and Gafford in trades and then signed Klay Thompson.Seven Costanza said:
It blow my mind that he could convince anyone to do anything. He looks and sounds like an absolute dumbass when he speaks. After my first conversation with him as a new owner, I would be thinking "this guy is the GM?"
But if the guy had spent the past 3 years building a good team, including making at least 3 really good moves under you in your short tenure, and he was widely considered one of the best cricket GMs in the league, you actually would not question him if he told you something about which you had no idea.Seven Costanza said:
It goes beyond not a clue about basketball. If I bought a cricket team and the GM seemed like a moron in casual conversation, I would be questioning his competence right off the bat despite not knowing anything about the sport.
