Utah is going to bench every one as much as possible. They owe OKC their 1st this year is it isn't top 8, and if it is top 8, it becomes a 2nd rounder

There's zero chance Ainge let's OKC get that first

I mean, there's really only one way for Luka to get his ultimate revenge on Nico: opt out as soon as he's eligible, sign with the Mavs, and prove that he can win a championship here after all.

Looking at the schedule the Mavs only play 3 home games between now and March 13th. There is one dangerous stretch where they play @IND, @BKN, vs SAC though. If they can survive that stretch without going 3-0 they should have inside position at hanging onto the 7th best odds, with some outside chances at 6th. The only goals for the rest of the season is Flagg ROY and max ping pong balls + best draft positioning if no lottery luck.

It seems like a lot of mock drafts are converging around a top 6 or 7 players. Picks 8 through ~15 are a bit more wide open. Some good prospects in that group, but each prospect with some clear question marks.

I watched Burries play last weekend and he looks like a good player. Announcers said he's getting better as the season has gone on (I believe this was also the game where Mash said Flagg is 6th in this draft class, so heap of salt and all that). Burries' advanced stuff is up there with anybody in the draft, but he is on the best team in the country.

He probably has to be a 5, in my opinion. But if he's our 3rd center next year and allows us to keep Cisse on a 2 way, that's solid center depth. Depth we'll definitely need with Lively.

If you can get a first for Gafford, Bagley would be a lot cheaper backup to Lively.

Bagley's rim defense has been excellent.

The spurs are so sloppy with the basketball. If they want to compete with OKC, Denver and Minny they're going to have to be a lot better there.

It's nice when Klay is having one of those quarters lol. I think Kidd has done a really nice job of pulling Klay when he doesn't have it and giving him the opportunities when he does.

Unfortunate that his contract is what it is, but he's basically a 10th guy that can swing a game for you.

We'll have to see who the draft pick is, but we're looking at a really nice, well-rounded team for next season, pending Lively's health.

It was just about the number for him. He's a valuable player because of his ability to flip a quarter offensively, but no one wants him at 17M to be a 20-25 minutes a night guy who's a turnstile on defense in his career.

He shot 37% at Zona and his shot looks pretty mechanically. He's one of the guys that I targeted early for the Spurs, but I thought that he would go 11th to Portland or 12th to Chicago. We got really lucky he fell to 14.

Say what you will about Tyus Jones, but these Spurs defense-to-offense flurries weren't happening when he was on the court. He just controls the game so much better than anybody we have available right now.
