He's been doing it for the past several games. He's trying to lose.
He goes long stretches where the team is struggling and has Flagg on the bench for 6+ minutes of game time. If he wanted to win this game, Powell and Martin would have come in 4 minutes ago.

I don't know if I buy that they tanked it rather than just choked it away, at this point don't you want to win
The Mavericks are unwilling to listen to any trade approaches for Naji Marshall that do not include a first-round pick, per @TheSteinLine

According to Gemini, Nembhard has been active for 33 games and Cisse has been active for 26 games. The max games a 2 way player can be active for is 50.
That would put Nembhard's cap on or around 3/6 and Cisse's on or around 3/21. If the Mavs are committed to tanking, then doing nothing is fine but if they want to flirt with being competitive they MUST convert both of them to standard contracts.

IMO, those guys need to be converted because they need to be playing. Whatever happens while they are playing happens, but they should be playing NBA games.
Maybe Gemini is right, but I thought the DLLS Mavs guys said about a week ago that both those guys would be out of games at around the trade deadline. They have a running counter going, but I don't listen to them as often as I used to.

Ya maybe Gemini is off but I don't know where to find the 'active' totals since box scores only tell you if players have any minutes.
Mark Aguirre’s famous No. 24 will be retired Thursday night in Dallas and I really can’t wait.

To get ready I’ve watched this Converse commercial about a hundred times today … which takes you right back to the NBA’s 1980s boom and an absolutely glorious time to be a hoops fan: pic.twitter.com/v9tNtSEmzw

Cooper Flagg just broke the NBA record for the youngest player to ever score 45+ points in an NBA game. Out of this world.

Man just shy of 50. What a game from Coop.
Result works out for the Mavs, but he deserved to win that one.
