EXACTLY what I thought! Uggh, hope this pans out in the long-run. He was a major mentor for Springer, so I'm not sure if I like it yet or not.

If Valbuena matches last year's #s or even improves on them then it might not be a bad trade. .776 OPS isn't too bad.

I don't know anything, but if they don't have it for the Rockets I doubt there will be a huge rush to pick it up for the Astros. More demand for NBA and they still don't carry it.

why would we want a guy who has a career 4.42 ERA, 4 era last year, 5.73 the year before. Was out of the majors for several years, and likely took steroids to get back in shape.

Vogelsong isn't a bad option. We need a vet to eat up some innings while our youngsters find their way. He likely won't be a big investment so if he sucks we can ship his ass.
