I only like it if it's because bad shots are penalized and bad decisions are REALLY penalized.bagger05 said:
I hope you're right. I love it when the winning score is around E.

Too many times at the US Open, good shots are penalized because they're so focused on Par as a final value.

Jon Rahm will be leaving for LIV after the US Open concludes. Bet on it.

the rough around the greens is pretty deep/thick but they had trouble growing it off the fairways, so it will be shorter than almost any other US Open. IMO, if they try to keep it closer to even, they will have to do it with the greens and they run the risk of creating playability issues like in the past.Hubert J. Farnsworth said:bagger05 said:

Guesses on the winning score?
I'll go with -7.
-2. It's been 3 straight years of -6 winning it. I bet the USGA wants to get it back closer to par and has worked to make that happen.

I love it when they focus on Par as a final value. These guys are the best in the world. They love it too.

I have no opinion on LIV/PGA as a whole, except the fact it's absolutely brutal to listen to the debate. The biggest "who cares" moment ever.
Honestly a good group with softer personalities could be beneficial.Seven Costanza said:
