Seems like the field's only hope. Driving like he did today with some unlucky breaks and he could let folks back in it.
Rose was hitting it great today but didn't make anything. He and Reed both look capable of making big moves if they could putt a little better. Just need Rory to shoot seventy-something tomorrow.

Only questions remaining are will Rory beat DJ's record for lowest winning score (-20) and Tiger's record for largest margin of victory (12 strokes). I will say yes to both.
Really wanted the faux amateur to finish DFL, but he played the last 4 in 2 under to finish above Cabrera & Riley. Got to give credit where it is due. Played those last 4 like a real pro.

Maybe I'm just being optimistic but I think Rory shoots 71 tomorrow and Reed or Rose goes low and closes the gap.
I agree. I don't think he shoots another 65. Maybe 68-70. But it's still a big gap to close for the other guys. I just hope it gets tighter otherwise Sunday will just be boring.

Augusta nearly always exposes your flaws. Rory's driver was awful. I think they said he hit 12 fairways on first two rounds. He will have to straighten out the driver or risk doubles.

Rory said yesterday in an interview that he has spent last 3 weeks playing Augusta with members/others. That probably helped him with ball placement on greens. He was really dialed in on most holes. He knew where to hit it to. That shot on 18 where he hit the slope was and the ball rolled towards the hole is an example. Amazing last 2 rounds.

He missed a bunch of fairways and is in the lead by 6. If he straightens his driver out he may win this thing by double digits
30th anniversary of Shark collapse and 10th anniversary of Speith meltdown. He looks unstoppable right now but this is far from over. Rose was 7 back with 18 to play last year so lots can happen.
I'm going to say it now. Rory WONT win this year.
