I guarantee I have seen more baseball games in my life in person than you have and have paid great attention having worked in the freaking front office for the Texas Rangers.

So what you're saying as a hypothetical is, if a pop fly is hit in the infield, and all of the players were to just stand around and stare at the ball and not even move a muscle, then it's considered a hit? '

If that's the case then the scoring rules should be changed. However, that wasn't even close to the case on that play and definitely an error.
well your rangers did buck the trend to try to save a no-hitter.

You defenitly have not watched baseball your whole life if you don't know if the ball doesn't touch glove it's not an error. It can't be . Who you gonna assign the error to?

It doesn't have to hit a glove. If a fielder lets a runner on or lets a runner advance, by not making a routine play, it's an error.

It's been ruled an error. Let it go already.
