First of all. Pulling Prager and putting in moss was completely moronic. Second, this team looked completely unprepared to hit offspeed pitches tonight - which we had to know we'd get a heavy dose of. Lastly, you bring in berg as a ph in a huge spot when he hasn't had a live ab in probably six weeks simply to get the l-r matchup.
Team was right back to pressing like they started out the year. We finally started playing loose when we thought we were out of it, now that things matter again, it's tight back to playing tight. That is all on the head coach. Sorry if that ruffles feathers.

That was a helluva game
See y'all tomorrow.
Lance, if you can do pbp tomorrow, I'd appreciate it.

Hell of a time for the bats to go cold…
Are you surprised? Look who we're playing. The team is petrified and trying way too hard again just like the beginning of the season.

Right? Last time we lost in Austin was 2018GarryowenAg said:W said:
the Ags struggling to score in Austin is nothing new
will try again tomorrow
This is not accurate. Go vent into your pillow. We played a hell of a game against the #1 team and lost by a score of 2-1. They threw their best arms tonight. All we need is 1 win this series.

Question for the experts: did their closer get burned for the series tonight?

Sips own us in all vital sports this yr unless we can come back n win two
Split with them in volleyball. Won the Men's Track conference championship. Beat them by 20 at Reed. Not quite as bad as you think.

where you around for the Childress era?
the Ags have struggled to score in the 21st century in Austin
the one exception was the Saturday game in 2012
go look it up

Did y'all see that damn slider away vs LHH??? Kent had a great AB but no one else from the left did. Maybe I'm the one taking crazy pills.

Kaiden Wilson looking pretty good was the best thing about this game beyond Royo being awesome at the plate today.
Wilson looked good for his 2 innings. He was starting a midweek game a month ago.

Not crazy pills, but Kash has been successful on this type of stage, even against lefties, far more than Bergevin, who probably has never been in this situation.
Fquin said:Ag1188 said:Lol. Outcoached how? Earley had us there despite a weaker pitching staff. He can't hit for them.Rule#2 said:
We beat too many balls into the ground early. Earley got outcoached, which was to be expected.
Oh well, get em tomorrow
Earley did have a few head scratchers tonight with Bergevin being the biggest. And much like the first game against Tennessee, he hasn't quite figured out how to get his team in the right frame of mind for the first game on a huge stage. Let's hope we finish this series like we did the one versus Tennessee.

Kash even looked rusty against Sam Tuesday though. I like that he's back for defense, but not in that spot.
I've thought on it more and I wish he went to Jamal.

You keep hammering this "all we need is one" thing
F what we "need". A championship team takes what it wants.
Maybe I'm nuts but I see us winning the next two if the pitching holds up like tonight
