That wasn't a choke. Not even freaking close to one. We lost by 1 run to the #1 team, and had the tying run on 2nd and go ahead on 1st, and faced one of the most dominate closing arms in baseball.

We have 2 very winnable games left in this series.

Seeing this as a choke is a butt hurt take.

It was Binderup who was hitting like .375 since his stance change. At the end of the weekend if Kash has done nothing it will be fair to question why he was put in if he wasn't ready. Bindy is not a good 1B but he hadn't been much of an issue lately.

Wow nice take Kiel, in that moment, what other pitch were you expecting. Give up 2 runs and we score 1. Averaging more than 10 runs over the last 3+ weeks and we are gifted a single run all night. The veterans on this team that endured that ********** abandoning them in their lowest moment last year had every reason to show up and out tonight, no showed. Mentally this team wasn't prepared to kick ass, all week downplaying this game as just another. Surely it had to mean more to these guys, at least more than 1 damn run offensively. Win the next fing 2 and shut these aholes up

Nothing. None of his moves were bad… people just want to blame the coach


Weston Moss was bad. He gave up the solo shot that was the difference. He didn't put himself in the game. Several argued that was not the right spot for him.

Bergevin was a bad move. Just needed to move the guy into scoring position for the hottest hitter of the night.

My complaint was try to drive up the pitch count because it will make tomorrow's games more likely to win and prevent Texas from bringing Volantis back.

Also our guys were not prepared to hit all the offspeed stuff. Sounds like Schloss knew how to handle our guys.

So yeah. I give Schloss the better job tonight.

This is not accurate. Go vent into your pillow. We played a hell of a game against the #1 team and lost by a score of 2-1. They threw their best arms tonight. All we need is 1 win this series.

Lol. Outcoached how? Earley had us there despite a weaker pitching staff. He can't hit for them.

Earley did have a few head scratchers tonight with Bergevin being the biggest. And much like the first game against Tennessee, he hasn't quite figured out how to get his team in the right frame of mind for the first game on a huge stage. Let's hope we finish this series like we did the one versus Tennessee.

First of all. Pulling Prager and putting in moss was completely moronic. Second, this team looked completely unprepared to hit offspeed pitches tonight - which we had to know we'd get a heavy dose of. Lastly, you bring in berg as a ph in a huge spot when he hasn't had a live ab in probably six weeks simply to get the l-r matchup.

Team was right back to pressing like they started out the year. We finally started playing loose when we thought we were out of it, now that things matter again, it's right back to playing tight. That is all on the head coach. Sorry if that ruffles feathers.

Not an expert at all but I'll answer. The middle guy Grubbs threw 19 and Volantis threw 40. I would Grubbs could probably go tomorrow for an inning or so, and Volantis maybe a couple batters on Sunday.
