it's always interesting how seedings, pairings, and upsets shape the postseason

West Virginia finishes in 3rd/4th place in Omaha. The Mountaineers went 8-3 in their 11 postseason games

here's how it breaks down:

0-2 vs 1-seeds (UNC)
1-0 vs 2-seeds (Wake)
6-1 vs 3-seeds (Kentucky, Cal Poly, Troy)
1-0 vs 4-seeds (Binghamton)

by comparison...OU is playing its 6th game tonight vs 1-seed
