RE: sudden death

Yea last time all 5 golfers for each team played the same hole and total score was compared. All 5 scores counted as I recall.

Minnesota or whoever it was had played that particular hole at like +6 and we had played it at around par in regulation yet we lost the playoff.

The video feed announcers were saying the coaches wouldn't be allowed to pick who played where - it would be based on golfstat rankings after the 3rd round was completed.

I believe that means that in a 8 team playoff, the highest nationally ranked team on our side of the bracket is #3 USC. The #1, 2 and 4 national seeds would be on the other side of the bracket. Nice! Not to mention that before today USC had been playing average golf in the Regional and the first 2 rounds of the national championship. I'll take them over the other 3. Although Arizona St has been playing really well lately so pros and cons.

Most likely the road would be as follows:
Arizona St --> USC --> Championship game vs Okie St, Georgia or Washington

Of course upsets happen but still fun to think about.

imo, I think that Nacho was sat down in favor of Conrad because of the match play format. I could be way wrong, but the Aggies did play this same 5 in the only other match play tourney we played in this year.
