not that it matters since we win the tiebreake either way, but the tournament manual on NCAA.com says that a scorecard tiebreaker would consist of the aggregate total of the teams unused score in all three rounds.

A&M checks in at +5 +5 +6 = +16
Georgia has +8 +7 +5 = +20

Even if they did it based on your final round score, A&M would still win, so it's a moot point.

Scot...I don't know what they mean by golfstat ranking. Is this a national ranking thing or is it the standings? My previous post is based on national rank and my post on the previous page is based on standings in this tourney.

Man, I am so pumped!!!! I just hope we come to play... not another day like today.

I can't help but feel bad for Oklahoma State. If I were in their position, I'd be pretty hacked.

I tend to favorite setups where the best team wins. Using a match play format is a cool change of pace during the regular season, but not to decide the national championship.

Case in point: Oklahoma State
-They've been the best team in the nation since Uihlein replaced Whitekiller in the top 5
-Their LOWEST, I repeat, LOWEST ranked player on Golfstat is Kevin Tway who is ranked No. 41. 41! That's only a few spots worse than our best player (Bronson Burgoon No. 33).
-Other players include Folwer (9), Hoffman (11), Uihlein (19) and Leon (14). That's sick.
-They've clearly been the best team this week and under just circumstances, they'd be able to coast home to a title tomorrow.

Instead, they have to play the second best team in the nation (technically ranked No. 1) Georgia IN THE FIRST ROUND. Meanwhile, we get to play Arizona State.

From an Aggie perspective, I love this. But I'd be pretty damn pissed if I were a Cowboy.

Skeptics will say that the format adds a little excitement... which is true. But so would making the hole an extra two inches wide... haha. And some will say if OSU really is the best team, they'll prove it over the next two days. Maybe they will. But it'll be alot more difficult to win 3 matches against national top 15 teams than coast home with the title tomorrow, which I feel they earned the right to do.

I think BB will be our #1 tomorrow because I am assuming he is the our highest ranking player in golfstat rankings.

Since OSU's individual players are so strong, they should do well in a match play environment where they only have to win 3 out of 5 matches.

I'd like to see the Aggies win it all - whoa - going out on a limb there! I'm pretty sure OSU will do fine though.

Also, congrats Ags on making the Elite Seven (doesn't quite have the ring of Elite Eight, but I'm likin' it.)
