Another factor is that the afternoon teams today will have to play 27 tomorrow. On a tough course under pressure, that will be tough on the young guys. I know it's not the Q-school final, but most of these guys won't see that. If they can keep it under +4 or 5 tomorrow, they are gold.
caleb - how does the match work? It has to be 1 v 8, 2 v 7, etc, but what are they comparing? Low 4 scores? Who plays together on each hole?
