OMG that winning goal was sick. Outlet from the far end of the ice on the move. One slick little move to slip the defender and backhands it in.

Go watch on Peacock. Start when the US pulls their goalie in regulation. And then after the tying goal jump to OT. the entire OT was eletric and back and forth. Canada had several rushes and shots that could have ended it.

Great long program. Everyone else had some little technical issues. Amber Glenn did great too jumping from 13th to 5th that about as good as she could hope for after the short program.

Yeah, I was watching her interview in the studio after she won last night and thinking she sounded very normal and down to earth for a kid who grew up in Oakland. The hair and piercings are just par for the course out there and she seems to have a good head on her shoulders about all of it.

I think she seems super sweet and genuine, and her zen state is something to be admired based on the mental state of many of these athletes that are put through the wringer since childhood. I am so proud to have her be a role model for young skaters, and am glad she found happiness in her ART!

I agree. The pressure and workload placed on young athletes these days is absurd and leads to burn out far more often then not. Nice to see a young lady step away and then come back because she wanted to rather than feeling like she had to
