French ice hockey player, Pierre Cronin, was suspended from his team by the French ice hockey federation after fighting a Canadian during their last preliminary round game. They said it was "contrary to team values".

What kind of Frenchman doesn't know that he's supposed to surrender?

He was suspended for taunting the crowd after getting ejected for fighting. At least that is the excuse they put forward. Must have watch Monty Pythons holy grail and learned some new taunting skills.

Yeah, aerials and snowboard slopestyle both postponed this morning. Big air contest still on, for now.

A somewhat disappointing silver for Norway in the biathlon relay, as they cannot defend their title from Beijing. France takes gold.

Another silver won't help Sturla get the girl back. Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills (and don't start cheating on them in the first 3 months).

Norway picks up yet another gold this morning in men's Nordic combined, as they continue to run away with the total gold medal race for the 4th Games in a row.

A crucial showdown in the battle for 2nd coming up in a few minutes as the US battles Italy in the gold medal final of the men's team pursuit. The Italians won the previous matchup in the preliminary round, but had a much tougher battle in the semis against the Netherlands earlier this morning. The US should be better rested as China essentially conceded the race a couple of laps in.

Americans fade terribly and finish with Silver.

Now trail Italy by 3 in the race for 2nd.

Jordan Stolz in the 1500 m and the women's hockey team are heavy favorites. Stolz has another event in the mass start, which he could win as well.

The US could win men's Slopestyle (Red Gerard, although he looked shaky in the qualifying), men's hockey, and an outside chance at ladies figure skating. It's going to be a tall order to catch the Italians.

Canadian women's skating team wins gold. With their giant skater in front, they look like a mom being followed by a couple of elementary school kids.
