#AvatarTheWayOfWater is A LOT of movie. It’s a huge, wild ride that looks absolutely incredible and the 3D is insanely effective. I’ve been saying FOR YEARS to never bet against James Cameron. I’ve also been a proud, unabashed lover of the original AVATAR since the day I saw it. Always found the fan community’s rejection of the film rather inexplicable to be honest. I’m happy to see Jimmy C brings it again.

Spilner, I don't now if you listen to the Smartless podcast but Sigourney Weaver is the guest this week. I've only heard the first few minutes but I'm sure the Avatar films come up.
It does and it's a good listen. Not sure any new info comes out. But she is always a pretty interesting interview and I have a hard time with that podcast unless the guest is great.
I do. It's on my queue to listen to.
There's been some debate about this particular shot.
This video seems to say it's a prop, but it doesn't exactly clear up if the Na'vi hand is CGI or not. Or if the prop was just built for reference and this person mistakenly thinks it's in the movie.

The Ehrlich bomb is huge. This movie is going to kick ass and I feel sorry for those who have been on the wrong side of history.
I know early reviews are always on the positive side, but some of these are REALLY glowing, and very few are outright negative.
I'm gonna predict this settles around 85-90% on RT.

That's kinda cool. I have been hoping one of the movies has two simultaneous battles happening on Pandora and Earth, cutting between the two. Maybe for the final battle, like in Infinity War. Could be dope.
You could even have the Earth battle be between two factions of humans, the RDA and those who want to defend the Na'vi.

Some more out of the theater reactions from some regular non-critic types. Still have yet to see a negative one of these. Almost universally effusive, and even from people who didn't like the first.

For those of you who've mentioned 3D doesn't work for you and gives you a headache, here's a review from someone like that who said this movie DID work for him in 3D and should be seen in 3D. Encouraging.

That really is a weird announcement. It's like the studio saying Hey you dummies who don't have streaming or premium cable and don't go on the Internet, here's a movie from 13 years ago. Watch it so your subconscious will make little twinkly sounds the next time you drive by the movie theater and you'll think "OH hey, movie! Me saw movie on television. Me go to next movie now!"

You say that but I think that exact demo is why they're doing it.
