I mean yeah, I loved Avatar 2. Been a while since I cried behind 3D glasses!

Ugh, someone tell James Cameron they left the “motion smoothening” feature on during the AVATAR press screening. How humiliating.

Also, it is absolutely mind-boggling that…none of this stuff exists. I can’t wrap my head around it.

Only in #AvatarTheWayOfWater could James Cameron get away with paying homage to both FREE WILLY and APOCALYPSE NOW in the same movie. A technical spectacle that continues to raise the bar on effects driven vehicles. About on par with the first. The kids are stars. pic.twitter.com/zhx6ZNYm9R

#AvatarTheWayOfWater is A LOT of movie. It’s a huge, wild ride that looks absolutely incredible and the 3D is insanely effective. The script is a marked improvement on the first film but it does start to feel repetitive. I preferred this to Avatar, by some margin. Pretty good. pic.twitter.com/NP5UEZVVPn

I’ve been saying FOR YEARS to never bet against James Cameron. I’ve also been a proud, unabashed lover of the original AVATAR since the day I saw it. Always found the fan community’s rejection of the film rather inexplicable to be honest. I’m happy to see Jimmy C brings it again.

I've never had a religious experience, but I have seen #AvatarTheWayOfWater. Holy moly. pic.twitter.com/AxKUxuFxpf

A VFX artist estimated that this shot from #AvatarTheWayOfWater cost 100,000 dollars since every pixel in it is CG and the realism is pushed to the max. pic.twitter.com/zKOmQrjsSQ

Doing interviews for #AvatarTheWayOfWater I didn't expect to learn anything about the 5th movie, but that's what happened.https://t.co/uQmBhTRVFA

That's kinda cool. I have been hoping one of the movies has two simultaneous battles happening on Pandora and Earth, cutting between the two. Maybe for the final battle, like in Infinity War. Could be dope.
You could even have the Earth battle be between two factions of humans, the RDA and those who want to defend the Na'vi.

Broadcast debut? In an age of streaming and BluRays, that is still a thing? And in all these years, this movie has never aired on broadcast TV?TCTTS said:‘Avatar’ to Make Broadcast Debut Ahead of ‘Way of Water’ Release https://t.co/uhsXp32ZJp

That really is a weird announcement. It's like the studio saying Hey you dummies who don't have streaming or premium cable and don't go on the Internet, here's a movie from 13 years ago. Watch it so your subconscious will make little twinkly sounds the next time you drive by the movie theater and you'll think "OH hey, movie! Me saw movie on television. Me go to next movie now!"

Believe it or not, there are people like my 87 year old father who do not have cable tv or internet. Of course, he is not the target demographic for Avatar, so...The Porkchop Express said:

I wouldn't doubt it. I just know my Dad won't be watching. He watches news and weather, and he reads the paper. He HAS gotten addicted to his smartphone, though. So even he is not immune to that!Brian Earl Spilner said:
You say that but I think that exact demo is why they're doing it.
