100000% on Without Remorse as a movie (or the next Amazon Prime series) Meh on Renner though. Just never believed him as a badass killer when they tried to reboot Bourne with him. As much as the Affleck 'Sum of All Fears" sucked, I thought Liev Schreiber was a great Clark Probably too old now though. I could also get behind Tom Hardy (which is what the longtime rumors were).

that all said, and i realize the jury is still out, but Krasinski was never on my radar as a potential Jack Ryan, but i think i am going to enjoy his turn as Ryan. Probably not as good as Ford or Baldwin, but def better than Affleck.

Between this and opening weekend I don't think I'll see the light of day until next week!

You need to see 13 Hours if you haven't already. That will allay any concerns you have with Krasinski playing a skilled operator.

Oh i have. and its bc of that i dont have any concerns about his portrayal. up until that point though, you could never have convinced me that "Jim Halpert" would have ever played a believable Jack Ryan.

The most stereotypical and annoying Clancy fan thing is crowing about how there's no Without Remorse movie. The number two most stereotypical and annoying Clancy fan thing is bemoaning the lack of a Red Storm Rising movie.

Anxious to hear how this show is. Ozark comes out at the exact same time tonight, so Ill be knocking that out first, but looking forward to seeing reactions here over the next few days.

I'm two episodes in, and while I'm enjoying the series overall so far and I think Krasinski and Pierce are cast very well imo... I'm not totally sold on Abbie Cornish as the future Dr Cathy Ryan.

Was not impressed with the first episode. Acting is a little rough, dialogue seems forced, fight scene was unimpressive and not very well done IMO. Very underwhelmed by the story so far...will give episode 2 a shot to see if it picks up any.
