I'll be there. UM is always hit or miss for me but when they are on they kick ass and it's usually the Stubb's shows as opposed to HOB Dallas. Although I'll always have pent up animosity towards Ryan Stasik.

Have tickets for Moon Taxi at Granada - Dallas

Trying for Goose tickets at HiFi in Dallas today
Got Goose tickets for Dallas, pretty excited to check out the new venue HiFi, looks pretty sweet (similar size to Kessler Theater i believe)

Also pulled the trigger on My Morning Jacket tour opener in Charlotte, couldn't resist seeing their first show back from the break and pandemic. got VIP tickets with a couple buddies.

Definitely interested in the Modest Mouse/Future Islands show in Dallas, will likely go

Seriously when are they going to pick some damn dates already. Would be good to know so we don't schedule some random trip.

I booked the flight for this because Alaska had RT at $288 and other airlines are charging brutal prices (I guess because of the Holidays). Just hoping I get a code now.

2022 will be a busy year, there's going to be LOTS of tours being booked.
I take it you work in the live music business in some capacity? That's a packed schedule and all over the place, taste wise.

I always liked all kinds of live music, but could never pull off that travel schedule. Have fun you kids. I'll be down at the bar watching the guys from the neighborhood belt 'em out.

Haha yes. I am on my mid 20s now and the energy is luckily still there. Typically I leave work, go to a show (if it's in Dallas or Houston I try to leave an hour earlier). Then drive back the same night, so getting home at 1-2 am then going to work the morning after. It sounds rough but it isn't. I started listening to rock when I was in middle school but nowadays I tend to listen to a lot of indie and pop as well. cant wait for 2022 as I hope olivia rodrigo gets to tour that year

Have to sell my Genesis ticket for Charlotte as the Rolling Stones show here in Austin got rescheduled for that same day. Sadly I booked Delta economy so no refund or ecredit on that (lesson learned).

The Stones rumors started last month on the IORR forum, but to be honest, I thought the people saying the Stones were touring in the fall were out of their minds.

The Cotton Bowl was actually the first of 9 shows I got refunds to last year (only held onto Pearl Jam OKC). Had GA field which sold out very quickly last year at the on sale.

Saw the email this morning and rebought those same GA field but then noticed PIT were available so made a second purchase for a pair of PIT 1 tix. Those sold out in a second last year so I'm extremely pumped about that.

I think GA field are still available but if they aren't and anybody wants a pair at face just let me know.

edit: that Genesis conflict is a bummer I bet. Love them and have never seen 'em.

I got a hotel package, but a bit annoyed it doesn't tell me where the seats are. I just know Metallica guaranteed rows 1-15.

The website was much preferred over TM though. Several options said 'waitlist', I picked one that didn't and I was immediately in check out. None of that lagging out and getting canceled/error bs I dealt with for s&m2.

Went to Hella Mega Tour last night in Arlington as I felt like I needed to see Green Day at least once since Dookie was on regular play for 8thgrade/9thgrade me.

Weezer once again disappointing. Last (first) time I saw them was with Rise Against and Young the Giant and came away thinking the supporting acts were 10x better than the main act. Questioned this time around if Weezer was really deserving of the undercard to Fall Out Boy, but they proved to be deserving of the "last billed" of the 3. Little energy, just seems like Dad Rock at this point. Blue obviously a classic, Pinkerton one of my favorite albums of all time, and Green while the lesser of the 3 gets the nostalgia nod from my sophomore year at A&M.... But man it's a nosedive after that. If they were playing down the street for $20 I doubt I'd go again.

Fall Out Boy - don't like any of their music. Sugar, We're Going Down a solid jogging song. But they brought a ton of energy and I didn't realize how big their fanbase really was. Ballpark was 75% full for Weezer, 100% full for Fall Out Boy.

Green Day - Got exactly what I wanted from them - Mostly old, old stuff, with some American Idiot thrown in. Still a ton of energy and Billie Joe knows how to work the crowd. Seemed like they were genuinely thrilled to be out there, and with it being the first show on the tour it makes sense. Jesus of Suburbia is a Top 5 Green Day song - fight me.

I enjoyed Hella Mega. Most sets were greatest hits so not many deep cuts imho, but a good way to celebrate the bigger tours coming back !

Still holding out hope that Genesis does another leg and comes through Texas. They only toured the northern half of the country for their last tour, and now are only touring the Northeast this time around.
