Honestly I might watch at least the start of it to check it out if it were on a streaming service I already have. I haven't been to a movie theater in probably 4 years.
so you're going to experiment first to see if you like it?

Has anyone else in this thread besides Ryan and Baller actually seen the movie?

Several straight people have seen it and posted on this thread.

They all thought it was hilarious. Honestly Ryan was the only mediocre review.

No even going over this thread but as a gay man, I went to see this train wreck and it is as bad as many say it is. I saw it opening night…3 people in the entire theater…previous showing…zero attendees.

This was bad…eichner was basically playing his typical screaming part. It was AWFUL!

On Peacock now- this movie is very bad.

(Writer/Director Nick Stoller is one of my favorites.)

Title-Bad.

Marketing- Inaccurate.

Movie- Not at all funny.

This was just all mishandled.

I think Spoiler Alert will have way more legs than this attempt.

The trailer certainly tries to be honest, instead of just being tongue in cheek.

We will see.

I started it and tried to make it but turned it off. It's just bad. Is it because I'm a straight dude? I don't think so. Way back in the day I'd avoided seeing Brokeback because I figured it was just a virtue signal project but when I finally saw it I was moved by it and impressed with a lot of technical aspects of it. I can enjoy a movie about characters of just about any persuasion if the characters are halfway likable or welll-written or interesting.
