I did. RT audience is 71%. Critics 41%.

Currently, Rotten Tomatoes All Audience is at 20% and Top Critics is at 29%.

People who review bomb, no matter which side, are some of the biggest losers of the internet.

I hate it both ways. It's just as bad as when the critics gave the last Jedi like 98%.

Kids were listening to the Sing soundtrack when I got home and it hit me that they should have cast Scarlett Johansson as the evil queen. One of the biggest complaints from critics and audiences was Gadot's singing and acting, and Scarlett Johansson can do both while also being just as beautiful as Gadot (IMO and **** you if you disagree).
ScarJo was pregnant with her first kid when Snow White started filming in earnest in 2021.
Not that I keep up with that gal, but pretty sure this is incorrect. I remember discussions about concealing a baby bump while she did Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Your right, this was her first with Collin Jost

I don't like review bombing either but it's pretty interesting that the All Audience review is more closely aligned with the Top Critics, who from my understanding have to meet certain Rotten Tomatoes review criteria.

I can't remember if it was this movie or Black Panther getting 97% which swore me off of RT. Both are wrong. Black Panther is way better than The Last Jedi which actually never existed. Fake news.

That producer's kid is a hundred percent, correct. Every normal American in a non-Hollywood job understands that they have the right to free speech but they still risk losing their job if something they say reflects negatively on their employer.

Well let me rephrase that... every Gen X and older American understands that. These younger generations who have come of age since the birth of social media are having a hard time grasping that online actions have real world consequences and effects.

A lot of them, like this actress, apparently have to learn the hard way.

All this does for people like her is make them more emboldened. Just look at this thread - plenty of apologists and enablers for her behavior.

This thread doesn't mean anything. Every other director, producer, casting director, studio exec, etc looking at her like she's a toxic, loose cannon who wouldn't give a **** about torpedoing their next project to satisfy her own ego does, though. Entertainment is a small world, and ****ting on a movie like she did and losing a studio potentially hundreds of millions of dollars because she can't shut her mouth is not going to make her many friends. She may be able to act and sing, but that doesn't matter if half your potential audience hates her and isn't going to see a movie with her in it. This will undoubtedly cost her jobs in the near future, and I would be shocked if Disney wasn't completely done with her at this point.
CC09LawAg

I don't disagree - but people like her don't learn the lesson because of the decisions made by the big, rich, mean, corporate oligarchs.

She'll still have all of her peer group and social media people telling her "yas queen" and she'll continue on with this behavior. And she may even figure out a way to monetize and capitalize off of that type of online presence.

Maybe she learns her lesson, but I think it's going to take more than this. She seems pretty dug in at this point.

By the way, the producer's son in Sea Speed's post above is responding to criticism after this article came out in Variety.

https://variety.com/2025/film/news/snow-white-death-threats-zegler-social-media-guru-1236347433/

It's underplayed here, but Ziegler's comments led to death threats against Gal Gadot and Disney had to pay for security to protect her. Crazy.

ETA ... or at least that's the story that Disney insiders are sharing as they work to save face.

This is what is mind blowing to me...ultimately, I'm just a cog in the machine that is my big corporation. And I have to watch how I behave at Happy Hours, what I post on social media, how I represent the company etc.

But I cannot imagine being the prime face of a potential blockbuster remake, backed by hundreds of millions of dollars, and constantly going on these psychotic ignorant hate fueld rants, exposing my hideous repulsive character and personality...openly bashing half of the country. She clearly is suffering from some type of mental illness...even if just the typical Hollywood hyper-narcissistic personality disorder. No sane, professional person would have gone that hard in the paint, without realizing they are sabotaging a major motion picture and HUGE investment.

You know what though? That producer's son can rant all he wants, but I bet dollars to donuts that he and his daddy are just typical liberal Hollywood elitist who have helped, at least passively, feed this nasty, out-of-control woke beast. Great to see him get taken to the woodshed for millions and millions if so. ZERO sympathy.

Yep, she, and her ilk, will just chalk this up as a "racist attack from the patriarchy"...it will reinforce these crazy false woke narratives in their heads and embolden them. The true-believing devout liberals are entirely incapable of admitting flaws or fault, or doing any type of self-inventory/reflection or admitting fault. They are ALWAYS the victims.

She'll probably keep being the same stuck up narcissist forever because that's just who she is, but too many other people are tied to her success to not hold her at least somewhat accountable. She has an agent, a publicist, and probably more than a few other people who get a cut from her roles that have a vested interest in bringing her back down to reality.

She's still a small fish in a big pond. I think Gal Gadot made more for being the evil queen than Zegler has made in her entire Hollywood career, including Snow White. She's had one mildly successful film, A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes that did just better than break even, and now a massive flop that she's going to shoulder much of the blame for regardless of how well her performance is reviewed. This was a huge opportunity for her to have a blockbuster film and breakout role, and she **** on it. Opportunities like this are very hard to get and even harder to get twice, and while her friends may fluff her nuts, there's plenty of other people who put food on the table who can't accept more screw ups and childish behavior. I guarantee you there's a lot of people in her professional circle who are very unhappy right now, and she knows it.

I was not bashing the movie "Wicked". I don't even know what it is about. Those clips making them look like completely fake, borderline posessed, woke Hunger Games Capitol weirdos, which have gone viral., is what I was talking about.

Zegler definitely seems like she could easily be groomed into their psychotic gang.

You should look up that interview on Youtube...it's one of the most awkward and cringey things I have ever seen. There's a certain segment of Hollywood that doesn't even seem like real people. They make 1990's Meryl Streep and Susan Sarandon seem "stable" and "moderate".

I block coworkers from anything political, but my point is, that if I just got on there and started bashing the hell out of my company and what it stands for...and talking about how much I hate half of the country and hope they suffer until the end of time because they didn't vote for Trump...well that would be a pretty stupid/risky game to play.

I don't think Disney would have had much of a problem with her sharing political posts on her social media timeline, within reason.

The key difference is you care what she says.
I bet there are some big money Hollywood people behind this movie who wish she had stuck to making anonymous message board posts. She does that, and we are not even having this discussion. I feel like I am pretty lockstep with that producer's son on the matter.

It's honestly one of the more interesting and fascinating threads I have seen in a while and I enjoy the debate, not sorry for posting more than you would have like me to. You should have an intervention with TCTTS too if you are truly concerned for us.

But yeah, the day Texags makes you use your name and face on here, I am out. I have no desire to get fired, "swatted" or worse.
