I used to not eat at CB because their food is terrible and their decor is worse than the food.

But NOW, I will not eat their because I'm enraged at something. Still not sure exactly what that something is…..but I'm enraged.

Look, personally, I DGAF about a restaurant's logo. If the food and service and atmosphere is good, I might eat there. If not, I won't.

I can't recall a single time either the particular logo hanging on the outside of a restaurant or on the Menu cover ever affecting my satisfaction in either a positive or negative way at a restaurant, if I even bothered to notice what the logo even was. Not once. Food, atmosphere, service...absolutely. But the Logo? GTFO out of here. And again, I hate the left-wing version of those idiots as well. The Culture War stuff sometimes just really jumps the shark.

If Cracker Barrel has any sense left, they should learn from the New Coke marketing disaster in 1985. Coca Cola actually regained most or more of their market share by the end of 1985…….

I've wondered for years if New Coke was a setup. Prior to '85, you had those Coke/Pepsi challenges that were eating into Coke's market share. Afterwards, nothing. Pepsi was solidly behind and has never really challenged Coke.

The difference is CB had the guts to admit their mistake quickly and change course. They'll be ok, and the vast majority of their customers will look past this and be glad that CB stayed "true to their origin."

Bud Light on the other hand, never would admit their mistake. Too married to the woke cause. If they had pulled a Cracker Barrel and corrected course quickly, they also would have rebounded fine.
