The CEO on GMA saying the new store remodel concept was "overwhelmingly positive"…. She is lying and trying to convince others what she wants to be true. It has been a total and complete failure.
Doubling down is not the way forward and if they think just keeping the old logo will fix things, it won't.
Yeah, it's a cumulative effect. Had they not done the first two things I bolded, then this is probably a non-story.
YES, they need to follow the Chili's model of simplifying the menu and being really good at less things while keeping the original charm and atmosphere.
But, they decided to capitulate with everyone else and so this latest saga has made them an easy target.
