Are they still trying to gouge out her eyeballs?

YES!

The physical attacks are so appalling that I can't even watch their games.

Neither her coach nor the refs give a dang about the abuse.

I can't watch because women playing basketball isn't entertaining.

Does Caitlyn Clark ever fight back? Do her teammates ever run to her aid? Guessing no to both.

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham, who has a black belt in Taekwondo, has been her only defender on her team physically defending Caitlyn on the court.

I have no interest in pro basketball but the Caitlyn Clark/Sophie Cunningham duo is fun to watch. Sophie came in and kicked ass last year and is still doing so as the "Enforcer"

You don't need 'state title' level boy's teams.

My son's 8th grade AAU team would have smoked either of these teams. They had 3-4 guys throwing down dunks every game. And while their team was very very good, they'd play equal/better teams in Dallas/Houston tourneys.

Get an average 9th grade EYBL or ASAC team, and they'd KILL the WNBA champions.

To be fair, she earned her "black belt" at the age of 6 years old in the least effective martial art ever.

Caitlyn needs a couple wrestlers or maybe judokas to come off the bench for protection.

Not hate...more like jealously. Most players in the WNBA, and probably 75-80% of the players in the NBA, don't play team basketball. They play one on one basketball. That is the problem. Frankly, who cares about either league.

only a handful can play basketball…I could find 5 guys over the age of 35 at the Y that could smoke most wnba teams

I attended my first WNBA game last Friday at the AA center. Caitlan was out with an injury, which sucked because that's why I went.

Anyway, in my prime, I would have smoked most of the gals playing. It's just not good basketball.

I would have smoked most of the gals on a WNBA team, too. I don't know what basketball skills has to do with that.

I didn't have much skill while playing in HS, but at 6'7" and 225 at the time, I'd have been swatting their **** into the stands left and right. Mutombo finger wag and all.

it's honestly insane to see comments downplaying the throat assault on CC on IG and X, etc. Like just say "I hate white people." It would be much more honest.

Meh. You want to be the GOAT, you've got to fight through that and earn it. Look at what Jordan had to deal with in his early years and the Piston's Jordan Rules. It was way worse than the hits Clark is dealing with. If you want it to stop, you've got to do what Jordan did. Drop 50 on them and win a Championship.

Terrible comparison. MJ could hold his own and was surrounded by rough men who had his back and would throw. Rodman alone was enough reason to reconsider taking a cheap shot at Jordan.

Clark probably already is the GOAT but she's not going to have that many years to prove it if she continues to get the snot kicked out of her by oversized, angry, black women, who seemingly face no repercussions.

1. I'm not sure you know what Jordan Rules were, since you seem to think Rodman was going to defend Jordan. When Jordan first came into the league he was a skinny kid, who had amazing skills, but wasn't really a physical player. The Detroit Pistons made it a point to cause as much pain as possible any time he came into the paint. Dennis Rodman was on the Detroit Pistons at this time. It was guys like Rodman and Bill Laimbeer who were tasked with taking him to the ground any time he came into the paint. Jordan responded by bulking up and developing his outside game, and the Bulls finally beat the Pistons in the playoffs, thus ending the Jordan Rules. The Jordan Rules are why Isaiah Thomas was left off the Dream Team. Jordan refused to play with him.

2. Clark isn't anywhere close to being the GOAT of women's basketball. She's not even the best player in the league right now. That's Aja Wilson. She's also won 0 championships. None in college. None in the WNBA. She is great for the game, and the WNBA's best shot at getting some interest right now, but she's got a lot of work to do if she wants to be in the GOAT talk.

3. The Fever stick up for Caitlin all the time. They lead the league in technical fouls, most of which are because they are retaliating against the other team for a cheap shot.

Every time I see some clip of the WNBA on social media, it's always just incredibly bad, even if it's promotional from ESPN or something.

I honestly don't know how people can watch it.

I've got nothing against women's sports but man, that is just brutal.

Just now I received an update from ESPN about Alyssa Thomas suspended 1 game… note no pic of fist to throat and their wording said "after she made contact with her fist to Caitlin Clark's throat". You decide if this is the way it would be handled with the script flipped.

Men's Collegiate officiating clinics and eval 101:
Nearest official STAY with players on floor (scrambling) til untangled.

"Didn't see it" is incompetence and skill neglect. Officials aren't accountable in that league. Another reason wnba is 2nd rate.

Doubt officials pregame even addressed. Not professional quality at all.

She needs to start defending herself if the league and refs continue to let this happen…Whenever I highlights (I don't watch the games because it's horrible) it gets tiresome seeing her flailing her arms around and pointing to the offenders begging for a foul to be called…how about man/woman tf up, show some pride and do something about it!?! She probably get that butt beat but at least defend yourself…

best thing she can do is hit them where it hurts the most. just say back problems and take the year off. let them go back to zero.

Throat punching in a complete non basketball play gets you a 1 game suspension? The league must want her dead or so banged up she has to retire.

Clark is literally the rising tide lifting all boats and the racism is so strong, they're assaulting her for being white and straight.

This whole thing is such a great metaphor of what minorities will do to whites whenever they get power in this country. They're going to kill us just like in South Africa.

I don't know what else she expects to receive. It ain't changing any time soon. Get up and punch the ***** in the face.

This is the kind of bull**** that doesn't happen in men's sports (this one-sided violence) because the other guy is usually just as big and men know that, despite who wins the fight, it's gonna hurt.

WNBdramA. I think it's all scripted. Clark may be the best WNBA player of all time and it doesn't really matter. Like being the tallest midget. Ratings would have increased marginally with her addition the past couple years.

However, you bring a little WWE to the games and tell players to "rough her up a little" and tell her play it up as well and now you have drama introduced to the mix. Classic hero vs heel scenario. Each opposing team looks to have a heel. Clark plays the hero and the good looking Cunningham plays the enforcer. Somebody set around in the WNBA marketing department and came up with this whole schtick.

Still not watching because the actual basketball outside of just a handful of players across the entire league is just bad. Give me women's volleyball any day.

Clark's shot release time is equivalent to Stephon Currys, and her range is comparable. She's amazing to watch.

POTD. She is hated by ALL black players regardless of sexuality. She is hated by ALL lesbians regardless of color. So that covers about 93% of the league. Also, has she ever been attacked by a white player????

WBNA sucks, and so do the players. I have zero interest in her or her leftist foolishness.

In her case, she went Woke, and no one cared… you would think she might wake up, but… she hasn't.
