Just last week he met with the mayor elect of New York, who has called him a Facist, and reiterated that fact this weekend. Or maybe taken him out back, bullet to the head, and buried him in the new ballroom slab.

But he didn't.

"Retired" Captain Mark Kelly is being investigated and may be recalled for Court Martial over his comments about his actions being "unbecoming".

When a member of the military "retires", he/she are placed in the Retired Reserve which means he/she may be recalled to active duty.

But weren't these 6 trying to get Capitol police to increase their security because Trump threatened to kill them?

Crazy that the J6 insurrection was a hoax, but the D6 insurrection is the real deal.

I think you are a bit mistaken.

The Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) is a pool of trained service members who have previously served in the active or selected reserves and may be subject to recall during national emergencies.

Members are not required to drill or train unless recalled, but they must meet certain annual requirements, such as maintaining updated contact information, completing medical readiness screenings, and attending a Personnel Accountability Muster (PAM) when ordered.

Aphis AG is correct. IRR is a short term status.

10 U.S. Code 688 - Retired members: authority to order to active duty; duties

Retired military members are considered part of the Retired Reserve or the Fleet Reserve and can be recalled to active duty by the Secretary of Defense for a national emergency, war, or other requirements, under laws like 10 U.S. Code 688.

Pretty sure POTUS has earned the right, by way of the only nationally elected office, to be authoritarian. Sort of how the Founding Fathers intended. Powerful, but with checks in place from being all powerful, without question.

Libs seem to forget that the only ultimate way to hold POTUS accountable is elections and impeachment. A free press use to be part of that equation, but they have lied gratuitously for 10 years about Trump and Biden, so they are no longer effective and have to be disregarded at every turn.
