I have not. I did not realize that you could talk to them. Does it actually help?
This. I would bet you have the same issue as I had, where ATF approved it and either never sent notice to your seller or the seller lost it.AvsB said:for sure give a call. 2 years is stoopidJuneBug07 said:

Just understand the limitations of buying as an individual if you choose to go that way.suburban cowboy said:
For those buying… make sure you do Individual and not Trust.
This difference is getting it in a few days versus a few months

In that situation, probably not. The main issue would be making sure the executor of your will understands that nobody is allowed to possess it if you pass away without paying another tax stamp and going through their own form 4. But you also can't legally store your rifle with the suppressor on it at somebody else's house or a lease camp and your buddies can't borrow it without you there. With a trust, in the future you could add a spouse or adult children as trustees allowed to possess it.RMD10 said:txags92 said:Just understand the limitations of buying as an individual if you choose to go that way.suburban cowboy said:

First time purchaser here. I plan on using the suppressor on my hunting rifle and at the range. I don't have any family members that would want it if something happened to me. Would there be any benefit to setting up a trust vs buying as an individual? Thanks
If so, that would be better. I was under the impression that the heir had to basically reapply through ATF including a new stamp, but I could be wrong.aggieforester05 said:
