Not making the World Cup is totally revamping the USMNT. Getting a new president, bringing in a GM, and focusing on our younger players.
In the 2026 World Cup, the bulk of our team will be 26-27 year old great international players. Then there are younger players that you have never heard of unless you follow youth academy soccer.
The team that played Ireland and France wouldn't have gotten any USMNT playing time. It would've been the same old tired players that failed to qualify. We're not focusing on today ,we're focusing on the future.
And this wouldn't have happened if we made the WC.
2 countries made the U17 and U20 World Cup round of 6. 2 countries. England and USA.
So yeah, our future is bright, and instead of focusing on today, we're building for the future.
