This is easily the hardest game to ref so far the entire tournament. He's handled it as well as anyone could. Again, FIFA doesn't want teams playing down. He's handling dissent with cards. I suspect Colombia will be down a man at some point but he's given them tons of rope. They can't complain if he sends them down. He's cautioning everything now.ja86 said:

that's my biggest complaint - the time wasted after a PK call or Red card.
It's ridiculous and I've never seen them change their mind - not based on the arguing anyway.
they need the equivalent of the NBA technical foul - I mean I guess thats more Yellow cards but they won't ever do that.
My thought it is to make a it a 2 chances to make 1 PK if they argue. Or upgrade a regular Red in the field to a PK if they argue. That would stop it.
