That was a very fun game. But the Argentinians are just dumb. Why get in that scuffle when you're down by one and there's maybe 120 seconds left. Otamendi is just a mental midget. I know someone said earlier that Messi never chews out teammates, but if I'm him there I squash that chit right then and there. If no others players or the coach is going to show leadership then Messi should have. Then again, maybe he's just over this Argentina squad. Isn't he a Spanish citizen ?

1. Otamendi should have been sent off for kicking the ball at the guys head. What's so infuriating about that is he's done it twice now and gotten away with it twice.
2. The Giroud card is a joke. And to compound the bad card, the ref totally mishandles the mass confrontation by getting in the middle of it and turning his back on the scrum.
3. What happens when you turn your back on players? They do anything they want. So Otamendi sneaks in and gets in a little kick in the back of someone's leg. And then like the chicken **** dirty player he is he immediately turns and walks away from the scrum. He's like the only player besides the 2 GKs not in the mess.
VAR has to to a better job of settling that out.
