Belgium playing a back 3 is leaving the Japanese wings with tons of room on long counters.
That is sort of what I am thinking. Just test this keeper some. He might make a mistake. Right now they are not really even making him work. At least once or twice and maybe get lucky with a bounce. Who knows. There is a reason I do what i do and they do what they doPatAg said:There is a real tendency with teams to some what "play for the perfect goal" which is what you are describing. That's not a bad thing to do, but you do need to test the keeper from range as well if it's not working.planoaggie123 said:
i am not very technical when it comes to this sport and I admit it but seems like maybe Belgium's best chance might be an opening from just outside the box vs trying to feed it within 5 yards of the box
Belgium's team is inherently flawed in the defensive 3rd. They have 3 very good CBs but 2 of the 3 are slow. Then they don't have a legit LB/LWB so they are playing an offensive minded player on that side that seldom comes back on D.mathguy86 said:

Shootout is more likely now.
belgium still easily has 2+ goals in them, they'll create plenty of chancesYokelRidesAgain said:You were saying?Unthought Known said:
