Yeah, we had to split the squad because of the two tourneys. Even had to take a couple of our better youngsters to Qatar with the older group.
I think it was done purposefully as a jab at the FA. Ever since Klopp was hired he has railed against the FA for the ridiculous fixture congestion. Particularly during the winter period.
I think it was Man City who got royally screwed last time. I forget the specifics, but it was just an awful setup that could have been easily avoided.

Sounds like he can play as a Salah, Firmino, Mane or an Ox.
He appears to have great control and is super versatile.
I love the signing. High work rate, creative, good on the press and good on the ball.
Super versatile in that he can play in the hole or wide. He gives us great depth. Could be especially dangerous playing the 4-2-3-1 like we've been playing recently.

Watching Klopp mock the CONCACAF-y diving / begging for cards was DEEPLY satisfying. Just fantastic.
His confrontation with the Monterrey coach was amazing.

I think he can play as the attacking midfielder when we play a 4-3-3 and or just under the striker when we play a 4-2-3-1.
He was really impressive during the game at Anfield and I think he's going to take his game to a whole other level here!
