More significant could be the impact transfers could have on the relegation battle and Champions League places, since Liverpool pretty much has the title wrapped up!

If we (Liverpool) sale Mane (God forbid), we will still have him till the season ends. On the good side, I don't think any of the Spanish teams can afford him after this crisis. Also, I am not sure they want to buy him knowing that he wont be playing for them in January (African cup of Nations), which I hope they can postpone too. All I want is for us (Liverpool) to sign Timo, get Nate and H. Wilson back. Get a few $ for Shaq and Lovren.

I'm on Team Mane as well.

Hopefully we don't have to sell any of the front 3 but if the price is right you have to do it. I trust Edwards and Klopp to find/recruit players.

I'd love to see Curtis Jones get more game time after we button this thing up. That kid has a bright future.

I might keep Salah, but not on a pure comparison between the players, but more of a replaceability perspective.

It is likely easier to find a fast (maybe not Mane fast) right footed winger to play up on the left than it would be to get a similar quality left footed winger to play up on the right in Salah's spot.

I nearly had a heart attack when I read "tournament" in the headline, thinking there would be a knockout-style tournament to determine the champion.

Glad the inspiration from the World Cup is only for isolating teams and games to one region of the country.

The LFC youtube channel has been posting goal highlights from the early premier league seasons. As a baseball mad kid in west Texas I certainly wasn't paying any attention to English soccer back there. Robbie Fowler was a magician. His highlights remind me a lot of Luis Suarez.

Based on that, I think I prefer the last couple of New Balance kits. Nike and Puma kits look like spandex.

Fit is always really hard to judge in pictures like these. I have really liked NB's designs the last couple years though. It's nice to have Nike money, but I don't think they're going to put as much effort into design.

This video makes the new kit look even better to me that it did before. Also noticed this was a "Standard Fit" version, so us non-athletes don't have to try to squeeze into the tight-fitting ones.

No one would ever score against a CB pairing of VVD and Koulibaly. You wouldn't even need 9 other players.

It'll never happen because of that reason. the football Gods simply would not allow it. It would make the entire sport uncompetitive.

Seems more and more likely that the Premier league will finish the season. With the Bundesliga and La Liga announcing start dates it is likely we will see the Premier league follow suit soon.

Watching a replay of the Jan. 4, 1994 Liverpool Vs. Man United match on NBCSN. Liverpool's jersey has the green trim just like the new Nike design. Must be the source for Nike's design.
