I agree with all of it. I kept thinking that we were going to end up losing because we wouldn't put away our chances when we had them.

Welp. This hasnt aged well.
Obviously the league is won, maybe as soon as Monday depending on how City does this weekend, but I doubt the season gets finished and have any chance at 100 points. And the months long celebration will obviously be dampened.
I was actually happy with how our midfield looked yesterday. Ox played outstandingly and Hendo (even at 75%) may be this team's MVP.
That was not a game where the result reflected the performance. For the first time since the winter break, Liverpool actually looked like a team full of world class players. I feel like Ron Washington's "that's how baseball go" quote fits that game. Sports are like that, sometimes you lose when you shouldn't. For anyone that has played or coached a competitive team sport, they have likely participated in a game like that.
I think that may have been Ox's best performance for the club, and certainly his best performance of the season. If he continues to improve and we add another forward for depth, I think this team is capable of doing something even more special next season.
Yes. Winning the title in front of zero fans and having no victory parade is such a bummer. If they postpone the season until this summer, hopefully there is a chance that the celebrations can happen!
Wow. Arteta has the virus. Emergency meeting called to decide if games will be played this weekend (or afterward). They had just announced a few hours before his diagnosis that they were proceeding with the regular schedule.
I'd suspect they'll take a similar approach to the NBA and MLB and suspend the season for a few weeks/months.

This is all a ploy by Everton to avoid Liverpool winning the league at Goodison.
First game back would be vs City with a chance to wrap up the league.

I'm curious about how the transfer window plays into this. Do they suspend transfers until the season is complete? Or, hypothetically, if Liverpool sells Mane to Real Madrid ( please no) will they be without him for the remainder of the season?
More significant could be the impact transfers could have on the relegation battle and Champions League places, since Liverpool pretty much has the title wrapped up!
