Watched this delayed tonight with a giant smile. I had my jersey on today and had a video call with a vendor in Korea. When the call started we spent the first 10 minutes talking about soccer.

I couldn't figure out any rhyme or reason to the order the guys got their medals. Just the order they happened to be standing on the pitch?

And I'm really just sick watching this in an empty stadium. Other than, you know, the hundreds of thousands of people who have died or lost their jobs or massive economic damage the fact that Liverpool doesn't get to properly celebrate this is just ****ty.

I thought Klopp had a great take. They can't control the fans not being there, so just make the best of what you can. He also noted that they actually had more people in the building (i.e., families) than most of the league champions.

What an optimistic outlook. I love that guy.

I missed 75 minutes of the game but I wasn't going to miss that celebration. Watching Hendo lift the trophy will be burned in my memory forever. I became a fan of them during Robbie Fowler's first season and I never thought I'd wait that damn long to see them win a dang title!

New season starts up in less than two months. Any ideas on transfers we're going to get lined up?

Also, I just love this squad. Probably going to be one of the best to ever wear the color red. Hope we keep the successes rolling in next season, but man, this two year stretch has just been phenomenal.

It'll be interesting to see this team mature even more as champions. With all my heart I want us to focus on winning the league again (if there is an actual choice between Champions League and EPL)

It seems like we have passed on anyone worth adding so I think we just look to the kids to come in and fill in the gaps

Very few players on the transfer market that I think can immediately upgrade the squad. Promote the kids.

Maybe buy a 3rd string CB...

With Lovren's departure, do we get back Nate Phillips or sign a CB? At this point I love the team chemistry, am resigned to no signings if we have no other departures.

I think cover at LB is a priority. Lot's of noise about Origi and Gini leaving, but also smoke that Gini is close on a new deal. Origi just signed a new deal and he won't go unless we get $$$ for him. Don't believe we'll pay up for an almost 30 year old mid (Thiago Alcantara), when we can extend the nearly 30-year old mid we already have. Doesn't sound like FSG want to spend a lot this summer.

Comment on the CL draw thread reminded me, but am I an idiot or are full games not available on peacock after the fact? I sat down on Sunday night to watch the game (we have peacock because we have Xfinity) and all I could find were highlights from the day's games.

Definitely bummed to miss the last game of the season. Would have been really mad if it mattered.

I think Trent stays with #66. He's such a big star now that the 66 is almost an iconic number associated with him. There are going to be little kids in Merseyside who want to wear 66 because he does, and everyone will know that's the reason. Just my thought.

As for Gomez, he did a pretty good Lovren impression with his play after restart, so....

Agree. Looking forward to Nike money but I've been happy with what NB has put out. Drunken ly Ordered a jersey from this year at about midnight after the Palace game and before City's loss to Chelsea.

I'm not a jersey guy but glad I'll have a memento from this season.

Yeah, the vvd/ gomez pair was so good once Joe got back in the lineup in December. Not the same after the restart. I wonder if he was struggling with fitness or something?

I really liked the NB kits, but I did not like their non jersey offerings very much. I'm hoping Nike sells some other team gear that is more to my taste, like middle age white guy college football fan polos. I would love to have been able to buy a NB "Dry" t-shirt that was red with some Liverpool FC branding, but they never offered anything like that. NB workout gear is high quality and I own quite a bit of it, but they just didn't have enough variety in their team branded stuff. I haven't looked into what types of DryFit gear Nike sells for the other clubs, but I'm hoping they have some relatively simple stuff to go along with the crazy styles the kids seem to be into these days.
