But yeah, if their owner is gonna have to dig in his couch cushions to scrape together the $10 million they need to upgrade the stadium, that doesn't bode well for their transfer budget, so it will likely be really rough for them.

They're also guaranteed a good chunk of cash in tv rights and other money though, if I recall it's like 100m pounds plus over 3 seasons.

Haven't been in EPL but have been top flight. About 5 seasons in most of the 80s until they were relegated going into the first season of the EPL.

Luton Town is the model for "incredible success" for Wrexham. That said, Luton is historically a bigger and more successful club than Wrexham.

Coventry is not comparable. They are one of the biggest clubs in the country and were underachieving to a pathetic level and have merely righted the ship.

Saying "Wrexham can just do a Luton Town" and setting that as your expectation is extreme. Its like thinking Fulham should win the league in a couple years because Leicester City did…it is technically true but you shouldn't expect it.
