We are coming down the stretch of the relegation battle. Four teams are still in the danger zone looking to avoid the last two relegation spots. With two matches remaining, technically with an Everton and Nottingham win this weekend and a Leicester and Leeds loss we could be all done in the relegation hunt. I hope not, as there is nothing like the drama of a relegation fight the last game of the season.

Key Weekend Matches
Saturday
Wolverhampton v. Everton (9am, Molineaux Stadium, Peacock)-Everton enter the weekend 1 point clear of the bottom three, and will be hoping to claim a victory when they travel to the Midlands and take on a Wolves side who were not long ago in the relegation battle but have done enough to claim safety. Don't expect a lot of goals on Saturday, as Wolves have scored a league worst 30 goals while Everton are not much better, having scored only 32 goals of their own (good for 18th best in the EPL). Everton have dropped their last three matches against the Wolves, including a 2-1 defeat when the sides met at Goodison Park in December.
Nottingham Forest v. Arsenal (11:30am, City Grounds, NBC)-The City Grounds should be electric for a Saturday Night Primetime matchup with Arsenal. Forest may be getting the Gunners at the right time, as they are realizing their chances for an EPL title are all but gone. Both clubs have gone 2-2-1 over their last 5, a run that has seen Arsenal drop behind Man City for the title run and has seen Forest pull themselves out of the bottom 3. A draw might suit Forest just fine, as that would open a four point margin over Leeds, whom they have a superior goal differential over. Arsenal thrashed Forest 5-0 in October when the clubs met at the Emirates, and you know the Forest fans would love to see their club assure themselves a spot in next season's EPL with a home victory over the Arsenal.
Sunday
West Ham v. Leeds United (7:30am, London Stadium, USA Network)-Leeds will travel to the Capital City for an early Sunday game against a West Ham club who is not mathematically safe as of yet, but for all intents in purposes is out of the relegation battle and looking toward their European Conference League Final. West Ham won a tight game in Netherlands against AZ Alkmaar on Thursday night to qualify for a European championship final. For the Hammers to be relegated Leeds, Everton and Forest would all need to win their last two matches and Leeds would have to make up a 9 goal differential, so the Hammers are pretty much out of danger. Leeds meanwhile, will know what they need to get out of this game as Forest and Everton will have played the day before. Leeds should go in seeking all three points to have much hope of staving off relegation. The clubs drew 2-2 in January at Elland Road.
Monday
Newcastle v. Leicester (2pm, St. James Park, USA Network)-The Foxes will travel to the northeast for a Monday night battle under the bright lights, seeking to find someway to claim points off a club who is seeking a spot in next season's Champions League. Newcastle will be hoping to claim all three points and send the Foxes to the Championship next year. Newcastle beat the Foxes 3-0 at King Power back in December. The Foxes have dropped their last two matches and have not looked good in doing so, and are on the verge of a devastating drop out of the EPL.
Enjoy the weekend!
