In case you haven't been paying attention, on the promotion side Burnley and Sheffield have promotion secured. Vincent Kompany led Burnley had an incredible season.

Luton and Boro have secured a seat in the playoffs with Coventry and Milwall currently in 5th and 6th. Sunderland, West Brom and Blackburn are all still in the running depending on how today's games shake out.

Reading, Blackpool and Wigan have all guaranteed relegation.

Only games that really matter too.much today:

Boro v Coventry
Milwall v Blackburn

I'm a bit of a closet Blackburn back from when first started watching the EPL. After all the finical mismanagement it's nice to see them so close to being back. That said, I don't see any way that their roster is truly ready for the EPL and I doubt they have the funding to get it there this summer, so it may be best if they have another year in the Championship to see if they can improve enough to make a guaranteed promotion spot vs playoff.

Other than Coventry, I'd be interested in seeing all of the playoff teams or the ones on the bubble come up.

Luton - Small club with a cool stadium near London, was in non league in 13-14
Boro - Another bigger club from the north. Make Robbie Mustoe happy
Milwall - I need Milwall in the EPL.
Sunderland - The climb back to the top
West Brom - Big club from the Midlands, they've generally been up since I started following
Blackburn - Historically big club, another in that Lancashire/NE bubble

Great slate of Relegation battles today, with Nottingham Forest hosting Southampton being the biggest.

Fulham v Leicester City at 9am CST

Brighton v Everton at 11:30am CST

Nottingham Forest v Southampton at 2pm CST.

These are "winnable games" for all relegation threatened teams so tune in to the USA Network all day!!

Today is definitely the biggest relegation day of the season. We will know a lot more about the race after today. If Southampton were to win they could still save themselves, but must win today.

Leeds needs Leicester and Nottingham to lose. I don't have faith in Southampton having enough fight to beat Nottingham

Fulham up 2-0 already on Leicester

A midday game on a Monday? Is that because the coronation pushed it back?

3-0 now!

Yes I think that is the case, and today is a holiday in England (because of coronation?)

Leicester forgot to show up today. 3-0 at half. Game could be 6 or 7 to 0. Fulham are without three of their big starters (Ream, Pereirra and Mitrovic) and are still taking Leicester apart.

Leicester and Southhampton are two of my favorite underdog teams, I think they both go down.

I like Burnley so they will get a shot with the big boys again next season.

I am rooting for Everton to go down, but I think they pull it out and stay up

appears that Leicester and possibly Everton have given up and maybe Southampton is too far back, but Leeds and Nottingham are not safe based on schedule.

Leicester will have Liverpool, @Newcastle, West Ham... should lose all and remain at 30 points, but final match with West Ham to stave off relegation when West Ham is safe with nothing to play for might play into their hands.

Everton will probably lose to Brighton today, and will still have City, @ Wolverhampton, and Bournemouth. Same as above. could lose them all and remain at 29 points, but final match with Bournemouth to stave off relegation when Bournemouth safe with nothing to play for could play into their hands.

Southampton - Nottingham today, who has probably been showing the most fight among the bottom 5, then Fulham, @Brighton, Liverpool... should lose out and stay at 24 points. They're toast.

For Leeds and their 3 American players, they're looking at the toughest schedule of the bottom 5. West Ham and Bournemouth have seperated and appear safe, so it's really down to the bottom 5 now. They need to be hoping for some fight left in Southampton today to keep Nottingham tied at 30 points and Leeds is ahead of Nottingham on GD. Big Sam will have to pull out some draws and get a point somewhere, and hope on the final match day that West Ham and Bournemouth don't lay down for Leicester and Everton. If they remain at 30 points, Leicester has Leeds on GD.

I would love to see Millwall FC finally get promoted back to the first tier. The London derbies, esp with West Ham and Tottenham (I think?) and Millwall's infamous hooligans!

I didn't realize Bolton had a chance to get promoted back up to the second tier. I work with a big Bolton supporter.

I'm curious how Kompany will do in the EPL. Certainly next season will be tough being just newly promoted but he also manages one of the most expensive rosters in the championship. That'll change next year in the EPL.

I root for the guy as I loved watching him play at City even though I'm not a fan of theirs.

Lol Fulham making some really dumb mistakes at the end. If Vardy had scored that penalty, it'd be 5-4 right now

Leicester helping their goal differential at least, now down 5-3

I think you see what the loss of Ream does for that back 4 as far as stability and direction.

Watching on my iPad on USA network and I have a great big "play" arrow in the middle of my screen that refuses to go away.

I hate everything NBC and it's partners do. They couldn't stream a match correctly if their lives depended on it.

Not relegation, but relegation fodder for next year. The Championship table promotion came down to the last day today. Sunderland slides into 6th place (last playoff spot), with 3-0 win over Preston and Millwall lost to Blackburn. Sunderland has the same points as Blackburn but makes the last playoff spot by goal differential.

Promoted
1). Burnley
2). Sheffield United

3 - 6 via for last promotion in playoff
3). Luton Town
4). Middlesbrough
5). Coventry
6). Sunderland

Sunderland till I die!

I wasn't able to watch, but noticed they were up 3-1 at the break and blew it

Millwall missed out on the Championship play-offs after a second-half capitulation against Blackburn, losing 4-3 on the final day after leading 3-1 at the break.

Pretty dang open and some wild challenges on both sides. I'll be shocked if someone doesn't get a red in this game

Every EPL game I watch on USA via YouTubeTV has several 5-10 sec instances of the feed going wonky like the old scrambled adult channels when we were kids.
