I'm worried about the Spurs chances against the Thunder if Manu doesn't get it together. 21% from the field and 22% from three. He's pressing a little too hard, which breaks down the defense but leaves him out of rhythm on the shots.

Can't even wait 20 seconds after the game to throw a bunch of homosexuality in your face.

Spurs were 25/25 from the line tonight.

Only one other team has done that in a playoff game (Phoenix went 28/28 in 1989).

It sounds stupid to completely ignore the regular season, but there are so many variables that can affect the games. The playoffs are a completely different animal.

Put Kawhi on Durant (he defends Durant as well as anybody in the league). Bait Westbrook bad shot opportunities and hope he doesn't beat the house. Play disciplined D on the other guys. On offense, play Spurs offense.

Will that beat the Thunder? I don't know. But I certainly like SA's chances. This isn't the 2012 Spurs team. SA is much, much better.

Their defense is still very tough though.

Who was the spurs fan in the mavs thread saying that every team would just emulate Dallas defensively and the spurs would have little chance at advancing

OKC is a tough matchup because they have the personnel to play a switching defense. They also have Durant, who can't be shut down consistently. It's as simple as that.

The spurs are definitely better this year. But you can't take this performance against the Blazers and project that to other teams.

OKC still has to get past the Clippers. Let's wait until that happens first

Don't get me wrong, I have my worries about OKC as well but let's remember the last time OKC knocked us out :

OKC had James harden
Kawhi Leonard was a rookie during a lockout year
Diaw had been on the team less than 3 months
Belinelli and Mills were not in the rotation

It's crazy how awful Portland's defense is. Spurs shot 48% from the field, which is not bad, but a pretty pedestrian 33% from deep making only 7. To give up 116 points when a team doesn't just light it up shooting wise is hard to do.

Miami said something similar last year. They were looking to trash talk the Spurs but were surprised that the Spurs were completely quiet

Watched up to 5 mins left in the game on my DVR this morning. Another good game. Parker isn't driving as much and Manu isn't the Manu from the Mavs series, but he's not back to 2013 finals form. Hoping it's just a slump.

I'm afraid that we are shooting lights out in this series and the law of averages will come back to bite us in the next, but at the same time, the first 2 games in SA we were getting tons of open looks so maybe we are just doing what we are supposed to. Hoping we close this out and get some rest + give Pop time to game plan against OKC. As much as I would love the Clippers to win, just don't know if it will happen.

While the league may want Durant vs. LeBron, I think they also want the Spurs vs. Heat rematch so who knows if there will be a conspiracy if we play the Thunder

It is amazing that the Spurs are playing so well against the Blazers who barely beat the Rockets. I mean the Rockets were 4-0 against the Spurs this season so they were obviously better.

While it's certainly possible that the Spurs could go cold in the next series (and it's a given that they'll face better defense), They're just getting a ton of wide open looks and easy points in the lane against Portland. Plus, if you see my post from above, San Antonio didn't just shoot and insane percentage last night and still put up 116. It's not like Portland is contesting every shot and the Spurs are knocking down a ton of contested jumpers. They keep executing and creating great looks and getting some easy baskets.
