Just to catch up, the Arlingtonians have signed Bartolo Colon to a minor league contract and are kicking the tires on Tim Lincicum. I believe in his limited stint last time he tried pitching, he had an ERA close to 10. And Bartolo in Texas where Whataburgers are around every corner is probably a bad idea.
Meanwhile, the World Series Champion Houston Astros will trot out Justin Verlander, Dallas Keuchel, Gerritt Cole, Lance McCullers and Charlie Morton. Just in case you forgot, our #4 starter was an All Star last year. Poor ******* is buried on the depth chart at #4.

You're right, although I do know about losing one being one strike away twice in the game. It was brutal. I've never experienced being swept in a WS though, what was that like?

They dont give feel good trophies for getting close and there is no asterisk in the record book for "got to within one strike twice" or "got swept". All it says in the record book, recorded for all time, is: 2017 World Series Champions: Houston Astros.
They only give a trophy for winning. And we got one. Thats all that counts.

I for one would like to personally thank the Rangers for putting Darvish on the block. He not only gave us our easiest win in game 3 but well, I don't need to go into game 7.

I hope we never have to move Peacock out of the bullpen.
