Probably because Dallas area fans don't have the inferiority complex for Houston sports that Houston fans have for Dallas sports. Plus it's kind of hard to talk **** when Houston obviously has a better team and the Rangers are likely to be pretty bad. I guess we could talk about the Rangers owning the Astros all-time? On April 2nd, 2013, the Houston Astros played their second game ever in the American League and was a precursor to the worst season ever by record.
The Astros were one out away from giving up a perfect game to Yu Darvish and the Texas Rangers if not for a Marwin Gonzalez (SS) 2 out single to center field in the bottom of the 9th.
