Probably because Dallas area fans don't have the inferiority complex for Houston sports that Houston fans have for Dallas sports. Beltre is on the last year of his deal and will be retiring after this year, maybe next, but he won't be as good.
Rotation: Hamels, Fister, Moore, Minor, and Colon. Name a team that would trade rotations? Seriously, I can't find one.

Bleacher Report: 20th
I can't find any recent ones higher than that.
Can anyone give me a reasonable reason to expect to Rangers to be any good in the near future? Short of offering Harper and Kershaw 40+ M a year I can't see it.

I remember going to Arlington for an Astros/Rangers game in 2013 (wearing my orange jersey and navy hat).... Not gonna lie I was dying laughing when we couldn't get the banner raised. Even the players were laughing... we shouldn't take everything so seriously all the time and if rangers fans want to make fun of it, go for it by all means.

Not only did I laugh my a$$ off but I thought it was fitting...we took so long to win a championship, and it certainly wasn't easy so why should the banner ceremony be any easier.

We had the same situation a few years ago. The only difference being we knew we were in the middle of process and improvement was on the horizon. Can't say the same for the Rangers.
Colors look awesome. Waaaay better than seeing the Navy/gold of the 90s or that red(?) color of the 2000s
