I actually see the hedges allowing this to run up today only to tank it before options expire tomorrow.

If it gets to $14.50 for the day - we may be in for a ride. Less than 1% of shorts have been covered, but volume is insane enough to trigger margin calls

It is a symmetrical triangle, consolidation pattern that is neither bullish or bearish and can break either way.

Bull flag would not have such a large retracement almost back to the original bottom.

The options that expire at 13-15$ would be a crushing blow to short interest. Be surprised if it closes over $13

96k calls expired ITM would've been another 9k at $13

I'm all for AMC mooning and screwing shorts, but after GME you have tons of Wall St. traders getting in on the retail hopium (not just a couple way overleveraged shops). They would love to sell high premium calls and puts while keeping AMC range bound as long as possible. The mid March $14 resistance held today, so I would bet it trades closer to $10 than $14 at opex next week.
