Selling pressure is just overwhelming the buying pressure big time.

I've had those same thoughts. If they don't intend on ever covering do they risk dropping the price low enough that retail jumps back in or are they going to level it out? In my opinion the stock was too pricey for the type of person buying into AMC to get rich quick at 50. In the 20s is a different story though.

Heh I bought my calls back today too.. turned out it be a little thing.
I sold mostly in the low 40s and said I was done. Then bought back at 35 and since then I have been selling high and buying low to increase my shares. It spiked up to 38.20 shortly after hours and I sold most of my shares thinking that wouldn't last and I could buy back in at a lower number.
It will probably go to the moon while I sleep now that I am down to a few hundred shares.
I've seen some promising things that make me think there is still some juice to squeeze out of AMC when it comes to synthetics through high numbers of FTDs, short interest, and shares on loan. I have zero belief in the MOASS but think a realistic SS is possible and a FOMO/mini-squeeze run to the three digits is likely at some point.
It will probably go to the moon while I sleep now that I am down to a few hundred shares.

If the macro markets melt it might fall back down. However some of these rubbish meme stocks resisted macro drops in the first quarter 2021 and late last year. Let's hope this one holds to that this time

It's been a beating the last month. Glad to see a huge gain today lol.

Some chart porn for you. Yes I know these meme stocks haven't followed TA much, but above and beyond the great price action I see several things I like today.
First this move up was so fast that it blew past the 5-day and 50-day MAs today and touched the 20-day SMA.
Moving averages haven't held much support or resistance for AMC, but it's nice not to have to cross these potential resistance points again. Also note how the previous 9 days the lower end of the daily price honored that lower 2-sigma boiler band? Trading psychology and TA still are somewhat relevant for AMC.
The next thing to point out was the decent volume today on a green day. In fact the DMA + (green line on the bottom plot in the chart below) jumped up quite a bit. Notice how before both of the big previous moves for AMC the DMA+ crossed over the DMA- (the red line) and also the ADX and ADXR were making upward moves. The higher the ADX and ADRX go the more likely the price movement indicates a trend and the less likely it's simple chop. All of these things happened PRIOR TO both of the previous moves, so maybe we get a DMA+ push and then are ready for another launch? Speculative at this point but fun to consider. If that DMA+ goes above the red line and the ADX and ADXR continue moving up, I'll probably double my shares or buy calls a month out (if premiums aren't too juiced).
The last thing I like to see is on this 15-minute chart you can see the consistent march up today, only pausing twice for some flagging.
Notice that volume nearing the close. This thing wasn't running out of energy after such a huge price move - it was gaining it. No guarantees obviously, this is about as risky as you can get this side of pennies, but I'm stoked after today and can't wait to see what happens over the next 1.5 weeks!

The last couple of mornings and this morning AMC price has stair-stepped down with some decently long tails. That's generally a signal that the price is being manipulated. I'd be interested to see how the short interest has changed over the past week. Does anybody have a subscription to one of the services that show up to date short share and short % of float?
Yuck again. It looks like this one is going to $30 or $28.5 at least. Of course, as they say rubbish meme stocks don't follow TA anyway.

$AMC......that chart says breakout. Confirms and it is probably a big one ripping to $49 first and potentially that $55 area.

Volume picked up the pace quite a bit since this morning. This thing is priming for another launch reminding me of the days bouncing around $8-$12 - when I was kicking myself for not selling at $14
