Welp, looks like I need to start going to AMC theaters more and help out the long play that this has become.

honestly at this point I'd rather the moon or a quick fall below $4 so I can avg down and begin my long hold. Dicking around between $7-$10 does nothing for me.

Well, GME was a 20x increase from beginning to peak. AMC managed 10x. Still comparable.

Same but I'd rather it just bottom out around 2 to 3. I can bring my avg down to about 5 dollars per stock at that point. Not super pumped about a long term hold with a company that's barely avoiding bankruptcy but that's why it's called gambling.

Depends on what you're willing to lose. My personal opinion is that this stock is a decent long term hold if your average stock price is lower than 10. I'm currently sitting at 11 per share and will average down once the stock hits 2 to 4 dollars. After Covid I believe this stock will be worth around 15 per share. That being said the company still owes money and just reopened today during a pandemic. There's also rumors that Amazon is looking to buy the company but I'm highly skeptical that something like that happens at this time.
I'm holding because this was fun money that is fine sitting around for months. This is my opinion though, I have no proof that the stock will rebound. Do some research and go with your gut feeling.
It feels like a $5 to $10 kinda stock but that's a big range anyway.

Closed at $9.09 today and up another 20% currently in after hours trading.

Back in the green. I also loaded up on GME when it was 40 a share. Debating if I want to wait for Friday or get out tomorrow.
I got my entire GME investment back today, somehow. Thinking about putting it all on AMC and letting it ride. My current avg cost is $12.19 and I can bring that down a bit here.
Nice job holding! Can't believe gme got back that high. I'd maybe watch it very closely to see if you can ride a wave but put in a limit order to sell at a small loss if it tanks.
Alright, bought 50 more shares to bring me down to $11.36. Let's see what this thing does.
My avg is $11.56. I've got a meeting this morning so I can't keep an eye on this. I've set a transaction to sell if it hits $15 on a spike. I'll take the profits and run at that point.
I wish I could go higher but that's as high as fidelity will let me set based on yesterday's opening price. I wish I didn't have the meeting and could watch, but I'll take what I can get for now.

I'm almost green on it. Very interested to see how it plays out today. Believe they have their earning call today....can't imagine that's going to help things.

I was thinking Netflix could buy em out and add the option to all their current movies to be voted on going to theater.

Word on the Twitter is that AMC needed to close at $8.01 or better today supposedly due to expiring options. Even though this is the 4th Friday and not the 3rd when they usually expire.....I'm hopeful
