Not really. I'm just admitting im not a believer in good faith actors and I'm really skeptical that the "powers that be" allow the financial shift that will happen with this to actually happen.

It's a dream. I'm sorry but millions of people aren't becoming billionaires or multimillionaires overnight. Yes, people are about to make a ****load of money. Just not as many as everyone thinks. The absolute dream would be this stock hitting the thousand dollar range. I feel like it may hit near 400 to 500 but craters as whales start to dump their positions.

Please dear sweet baby Jesus let me be wrong and this stock actually hit 100k

I concur. I can't see it going past 2k. if it gets higher than that the government will step in or they'll go bankrupt. I call B.S. on 60 trillion of insurance that will actually pay these AMC shareholders.

I just hope it hits 1,000 and I can make a million plus after taxes.

There is a lot of information explaining it on reddit. Just google and you can find out. It is heavily shorted and if the price can get pushed higher by enough people buying and holding it can cause a short squeeze which would force millions of shares to be purchased at whatever the going rate is and if that happens and enough people hold for $1,000 it can reach that price.

Reddit has some decent info but I take it all with a grain of salt. Most of the threads started there are created by people who are emotionally invested or honestly teenagers. Lots of talk about investing life savings into this and holding until 500k a share. Makes my stomach turn knowing that people are going to lose everything.

Even it were theoretically possible, the hedgefunds on the hook would have to declare bankruptcy due to inability to pay it.

And that's the hilarity of it all. I'm all for making money and wishful thinking, but I was thinking of putting in $2000 max and still be diversified. At that price assuming it goes to $500k a share, I'm a millionaire 34 times over at these prices right now.

It didn't force the price to go lower, but we likely hit $40 today if they didn't dump 7.5 million shares onto the market. It wipes out the FOMO squeeze we could have had today that could have caused a gamma squeeze once we broke $40.
