Well, except that he was hitting wedge. Sounded a little clunky, especially the 2nd. That little pitch shot is tricky with the downhill lie. Getting it a bit fat can be a problemo

Oh, I think he'll get fined. He also let some F bombs fly today. On 9 tee he hit a double cross and he let out a pretty loud, "AWE EFFING HELL!" (But obviously he didn't say "effing")

Don't get me wrong, I do that on an almost every round basis, but I'm not at the Masters. And he was in a featured group today.

I'm not needing an apology, but do better Bobby Mac. He just wasn't quite ready for prime time today, in more ways than one.

UA wasn't really trying to compete in the space. Back in 2012 I played golf with an UA rep and all their "golf" stuff was just the UA slapped on some random manufacturer and they had no real plans to do anything more. They signed Spieth later that year and he blew up, so UA had no choice but to pump a ton of money into it (similar with Curry).

UA was just always playing catch-up to Nike, Adidas, etc with Golf, Basketball, and sponsoring colleges, they simply stretched themselves too thin and weren't really able to capitalize on the success of some of their athletes.

His career has taken a full 180 in the wrong direction.

Rahm has won three time on LIV including back to back individual year long championships. While I agree he hasn't been competitive in majors as of late he's still been very good at LIV (fwiw).

However, I do agree with the poster that it is shocking he went without a birdie. You, along with everyone SHOULD be surprised he didnt make a birdie. I am not surprised though he struggled over all.
