I didn't know softball was so popular. Tech is becoming a brand for sure and is about to get a ton of publicity for the tu beef. They are all over my feeds.

If that is the case, Texas is who everyone needs to win again. Tech has completely bought their team while Texas best players are mostly Whites recruites. Altmeyer is really the only one who is a starter and she is a grad transfer. Tech winning is bad for softball.

All their best players were bought. They have very few who were recruited and signed out of high school unlike Texas. Most of those schools paid their own players who earned NIL for performance.

That list is just "school spending" - scholarships, room/board, academic services, nutrition, training, coaching salaries, travel, equipment, facility maintenance, marketing/promotions, you can even have some facility depreciation, etc. None of that number is NIL. Every school includes and excludes different things, so the numbers are generally not particularly comparable between schools.

I didn't see this live yesterday. The Alabama leftfielder, Audrey Vandagriff, is getting a lot of criticism for her effort on what became the game deciding play in game 1 yesterday.
